"great venue for a drink"

When I was recently in Townsville, a couple of mates and I dropped into the brewery for a few beverages and a chat. We were there from about 10 to middnight - the level one night club was pumping when we left. The atmosphere was good, busy but we still could get a great seat outside to people watch. The venue itself was also very nice - it wouldn't have looked out of place in Brisbane or even Melbourne (though the balamy tropical weather would have given it away that it wasn't in melbourne!). What's also great about townville is the drink prices -$5 for a vodka, cranberry and lime - with a decent vodka brand and mixers. …
