"Service with that time of the Month"
By SMH Well, arrived early last night, to have a bottle of Wine with a friend and to be joined by other friends. First time at The Lincoln however. Heard Good reviews from fellow Editors and thought I should give it a go. Well it didnt take long before we were being approached by Waiters, and ensuring we were going to purchase more Wine. Requested we put a Credit Card behind the Bar to purchase any more alcohol otherwise we would lose our seats in the lounge. Well i am afraid my Black Amex (right, they wanted me to have one) does not go behind Bars and requested to pay Cash.
You guessed it, she came back twice and eventually forced us to leave. Wow, now being in this industry for some time, next time you choose to sit at a bar you better have your Black Amex available otherwise you may find yourself outside on the street looking in through the Windows. I rates this one a "Hate It" why? not because the establishment didnt look good, But Service is what makes a good night and is why you go out. Otherwise i would have felt better sitting on the couch with my own bottle of wine and guess what, opening it myself with a smile. Choice is yours, however avoid some waitresses... Sorry Management, but you need to sort that one out. …
