World Square is celebrating winter and its snowing, literally. For one month this Winter, the centre will be transformed with life like snow falls in the open air plaza, showcasing the London Olympics on the giant oversized screen and the unveiling of three new food venues.

From this Saturday, World Square will be transformed into a winter wonderland, where you can experience the illusion of snow falling in centre. The life like snow will fill the plaza for 16 days throughout the Winter Food celebrations with the blizzard setting off in centre for lunch and dinner daily from approximately 12pm and 6pm. This really has to be seen to be believed and experienced to feel the magic of winter, be sure to check this one out.

The snow experience just got even more exciting when World Square will be showcasing the London Olympics on the massive 7m x 5m screen in the plaza from Friday 27 July. Fancy viewing the opening ceremony in the snow? You can, with the live viewing of the Channel 9 coverage of the games every day from 7am-11am; 4pm-9pm!

So what’s all the winter fuss about? World Square are celebrating the opening of three new food venues -
Ramen Zundo has been brought to us by the owners of award wining Monkey Magic and Sushi Fusion and are NOW OPEN. Following the success of the York Street store, World Square’s Sourdough Panini Bakery & Bar is NOW OPEN, showcasing the cities latest trend in laneway food and bar venues. Finally, the highly anticipated opening of China Republic is set to indulge Sydney diners with this 200 seat contemporary Chinese cuisine restauraunt complete with purpose built peking duck oven and four private dining rooms.
