On Tuesday the 12th of June this year, the five friends from Snakadaktal were thrilled to debut their brand new single titled "Dance Bear" through Tom & Alex on Triple J and have been receiving overwhelming praise for it since. Leading on from this positive reaction Snakadaktal are now happy to announce that they will be hitting the highways of Australia this August for their biggest headline tour to date!

After taking out the Triple J Unearthed High competition in 2011 the school friends released their stellar self-titled debut EP which debuted at #26 on the digital ARIA charts and featured singles "Chimera" and "Air", the second of which quickly connected with fans and critics across Australia, resulting in the band announcing two separate national headline tours with the majority of shows selling out, placing #22 in the Hottest 100 and over 190,000 YouTube views.

With fans aching for a taste of what was next to come, Snakadaktal headed into the studio earlier this year with producer and friend Malcolm Besley to track "Dance Bear", an epic track which see's Snakadaktal take a massive leap forward and show music fans everywhere exactly what they're capable of. Coming in at just under 4 minutes, Dance Bear showcases Sean and Phoebe's delicate vocals in the verses while proving the power they can pack in the choruses and the fantastic musicianship of Barna, Joseph and Jarrah which belies their years.

Having just completed a massive national tour supporting The Jezabels in some of Australia's finest and largest venues, Snakadaktal are set to impress fans and critics around the country with their impressive live show once more on The Dance Bear tour.

Joining Snakadaktal on The Dance Bear tour will be Sydney pop quartet Sures who have enjoyed a great year so far while playing shows with Wavves, Real Estate and Bleeding Knees Club. Having recently penned a deal with Ivy League records, Sures new single "Stars" is currently getting some great love from radio across the country.
