Sydney Independent Opera is pleased to present Rossini's The Silken Ladder.

Sydney Independent Opera is a chamber opera company presenting small-scale operas in English with chamber orchestra.

Founded in 2011, Sydney Independent Opera, under the direction of Artistic Director Steven Stanke, will present vibrant and innovative performances of chamber operas and operas in chamber settings from composers such as Mozart and Rossini to Britten, Holst, Menotti and others.
The company aims to be one of Sydney's leading small opera groups, known for high-quality performances and imaginative programming, and featuring some of Sydney's finest operatic artists.
