Country music superstar Carrie Underwood has confirmed her first tour outside North America and her first tour of Australia. Sponsored by Olay, Underwood will play four intimate and exclusive concerts in Australia including a special concert in Tamworth. Underwood - the most successful debuting female country artist in history - is a 14 million album-selling, five-time Grammy Award-winning, 14 #1-hit-scoring dynamo.

Underwood will tour Australia on the back of her self-described "stormier" fourth studio album, Blown Away, now released in Australia, which includes the new hit single, Good Girl. It was on her first visit to Australia - a record company promo trip in June last year - that Underwood said she'd "love to tour Australia."

"Touring is more fun now," she's said, "because I know what it's like to headline a tour.

"I feel like I'm able to be more and more creative all the time.

"I always feel like I'm taking steps forward."
