Melbourne Yelpers will don school uniforms to celebrate Australia’s first-ever ‘Yelper Party’ at Strike Bowling Bar on August 20, 2012.

This event is free to attend and open to anyone with a Yelp profile, strictly 18+. RSVP is mandatory and can be found at yelp.com.au/events

The theme for the night is “Yelp’s High School Party”. Wearing school uniforms, partygoers will enjoy entertainment from three DJs and silent disco from Party Higher.

Uniforms signify support of Yelp’s Melbourne-based charity partner, Onegirl who provide education scholarships to girls living in Sierra Leone. Guests will have the opportunity to donate on the night.

Every guest who checks-in to the event on Yelp’s mobile app will go in the draw to win two return airfares to Yelp’s birthplace of San Francisco, courtesy of San Francisco International Airport.

Guests will be treated to complimentary drinks from sponsors including 666 Pure Tasmanian Vodka, Magners Cider, Two Birds Brewing, Giesen Wines, Pure Energy and Capi and nosh on complimentary eats from Windsor Deli, The Merrywell, Pana Chocolate, The Cupcake Queens, Fugazza and more!

Miss Fox and Lash Me will be on site to keep guests looking polished throughout the party. Balderdash Cafe and Lord Coconut will add some fun in the science lab.
