I can't say how many times I've dined at this restaurant now ... love the new premises, nice warm fire and comfortable stylish decor. But of course the food is what we go there for. Good clean tastes, authentic recipes and a wide variety of choices on the menu. My family haven't had a dud yet in over a dozen visits. The service is friendly and fast. Can't think why telf wasn't happy ... must be from a competitor trying to bad mouth these people. Anyway, try for yourself, I'll be back again and again .....

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the comments from the reviewer before me... the food at Eagle Thai is unmatched on the Gold Coast & in fact most of Queensland. I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants (GC, Brisbane, Mooloolaba, Hervey Bay etc etc) and this is my favourite of them all.
The flavours are traditional, servings are generous & the prices are very reasonable (under $10 for a main meal at lunch). My personal favourites are the Yellow Chicken Curry, Beef Massaman & Basil Chicken... mouthwatering flavours.
I've been to dine there maybe a dozen times now with a car owner's association/otherwise and have never heard a negative comment from anyone. They are great hosts and certainly know how to produce excellent Thai food. Go check them out, you won't be disappointed.

this is without a doubt the worst thai i have ever had. you can do better by buying a jar of pad thai paste or red curry sauce from woollies and doing your own - believe me i tried. the astonishing thing is that it is still in business. i was in too much shock or else i would have told them how crap it was and demanded my money back. i didn't even eat most of my 'meal'.
