The Gold Coast City Choir returns to the Gold Coast Arts Centre with their encore performance of Opera Pops 2 in the Paradise Showroom on Saturday 26 July at 7pm.

After the huge success of Opera Pops in 2006, the Gold Coast City Choir will once again treat listeners to their operatic hits, flamboyant costumes, exciting choreography and imaginative props,

Well-known local soloists will take to the stage with support from the talented and diverse voices of the Gold Coast City Choir, in a dramatic performance that will no doubt have the audience calling “encore, encore!”

Members of the Gold Coast Dance Theatre will also feature and complete the opera experience, under the guidance of the talented director and conductor- Ruth Gurner.

Opera Pops 2 will perform scenes and songs from well-loved operas such as Carmen, Faust, Hansel &Gretel, Madam Butterfly, Aida, Prince Igor, Marriage of Figaro, Pirates of Penzance plus many more.
