Country superstar and Grammy legend Kenny Rogers is set to ignite the 2012 Darwin Festival.

On Saturday 18 August, you're in for a very special treat when the iconic musician and his band hit the Amphitheatre stage for what is THE gig of the year.

For more than six decades Kenny Rogers has been a major player on the international music scene bringing his unique storytelling ability and sweet raspy vocals to a long list of timeless classics.

He has sold more than 120 million records, recorded more than 65 albums and released 24 number one singles including 'The Gambler', which spawned five movies and a mini-series.

You’re sure to hear your favourite from the Kenny Rogers catalogue in a concert filled with many of his hits – ‘Lucille’, ‘The Gambler’, ‘Islands in the Stream’ anyone?

Dolly may have missed Darwin last year but Kenny is keen to entertain the Territory in 2012, so don’t miss your chance to experience this incredible evening under the stars with a living legend.
