Arising from the turmoil and chaos of Timor-Leste’s struggle for independence in 1999, Galaxy have forged ahead to become one of the most well respected bands in one of the world’s newest nations. They return to the Star Shell following their critically acclaimed debut in 2006 and extensive performances all over East Timor to perform their unique blend of hip hop, reggae and rock. Mixing beautiful acoustic harmonies with traditional Timorese sounds, they will be performing songs from their new CD Perecua which musically takes brave new steps, exploring issues of conflict and forgiveness. This is a performance not to be missed.
