"Not that bad"
We ate at the EP on Saturday night with our 7 and 9 year-olds. After reading the other reviews, we were a bit apprehensive - and yes, my husband's ribs were cold and my steak was still bleeding (even after the order-taker recommended butterflying the eye fillet to make sure it was well done). We sent the meals back and watched as both were put back on the hotplate. Unfortunately, when the meals returned, the ribs were blackened. We looked at each other in dismay, as we had now waited a fair while and just wanted to eat! A passing waitress noticed our distress and waited politely while we decided whether to send the ribs back a second time. We all agreed that they were indeed burnt and would have to go back. Third time lucky! We were obviously given someone else's ribs, as a new plate came straight back (sorry about that!). We then discovered that the bowl of veges with the steak were cold, but hey, I wasn't really intending to eat them anyway. As we were finally tucking in, a waitress came over with a plateful of money - a refund for the ribs - and profuse apologies. We hadn't asked for or expected a refund. So all in all, the food was only OK, but the wait-staff were very pleasant and helpful and let's face it, it's definitely got the best playground around and that's what you go there for! …

"Great Family Day"
We went down a few sundays a go, to grab some lunch and let the kid's have a play on the playground (which they love) only to discover a lovely little boutique market in their outdoor marquee. They had some great stuff, so after we had finished our lunch, I left hubby to look after the kids in the playground and I had a shop in the markets. A great day was had by all, everyone was catered for, including me, and we will be back again....especially on market day! …

"Fantastic"
I found the Hotel fanstastic, the children's playcentre kept the kids entertained for ages so we could relax and enjoy a Vino with some old friends. We went on a Sunday lunch and they had some Markets in their front Bar area which were very busy and the Restaurant was very busy as well, we did have to wait for a while for food but if you looked around you could tell they were very busy and the staff were running. I think if you want to go into this Hotel on a weekend you may have to wait for meals but the kids are entertained so we weren't in any hurry especially seeming it was pouring rain and we didn't have anywhere else to go!!! I found the Staff very helpful, it is a very busy restaurant and you have to give them a break!!! …
