I attended a function here and was really impressed. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The venue was excellent and we had a lot of compliments from attendees. The cocktail food was excellent - there was a good range provided and some healthy selections - a nice change from the standard function food. …

I LOVE this cafe, they have the best hot chocolates and mochas and chai lattes and coffee, gahhhh. And their blueberry muffins are the BEST I have ever tasted, no joke. The people there are so nice too! Would recommend this cafe to anyone. Well worth a visit. …

"Watch it!"
The Metropolitan was once known as a dodgy run down pub that you wouldnt visit ever! well no more! It has recently been taken over and is in the process of a major facelift, the front bar is currently being restored and with it comes a fresh new crowd of pub goers. It is in a fantastic spot right in the heart of the city. The food is fantastic and im sure it wont be long before this pub is thriving once again! If your looking for a nice pub for a relaxed drink on a saturday night, then i would definatley suggest the metro. …
